Are you ready for this Fitness lesson?
One of the hardest lessons to learn in the world of fitness… well, really in anything…
You have to do things you don’t want to do.
We have to delay gratification and sometimes skip desserts. We need to eat more vegetables.
We have to go for the workout or walk when we are tired.
We have to push the weights a little harder when we are tired.
We have to do the cardio when we are tired.
We have to stretch and warm up properly (spoiler… this is my toxic trait!)
We have to repeatedly drill basic techniques if we are learning a new skill.
We have to lose a lot and fail a lot before we can master anything.
We have to go to bed earlier, and maybe even wake up earlier.
If you want to make progress, you must sometimes do things you don’t want to do.
This is the one fitness less than’s an unfortunate reality none of us can escape, so take it head on and do something cool with it! Life is too cool to not do cool stuff.
